Eligibility

All equipment checked through the Dean's Office is only available to current employees (faculty and staff) or graduate students.

Check Out Duration

Due to the limited amount of check out equipment, all equipment may only be signed out for short-term loan (no longer than a week and a half).

Reservations

Contact the appropriate office/individual for reservations. Walk-in availability is not guaranteed.

Check Out

All borrowers must come to the check out location in person and sign for the equipment. The signature indicates that the signee and the signee's departmental budget is liable for damages or losses occurring during the check out period. A component list with individual prices is provided at initial check out. Departments will be billed the amount listed on the form if the component is not returned with the rest of the equipment.

Signee's allowing others to borrow the equipment will still bear responsibility for the equipment.

Returns

Equipment must be returned before it's due and with all associated pieces. The equipment will be inspected upon return and before the next sign out. Whether the individual is present or not, missing or damaged pieces will be charged against the individual's departmental budget. Normal wear and tear will be covered by the College. The check in office/individual has the right to determine what is normal wear and tear.

Because late returns may affect other people, we reserve the right to revoke loan privileges for late or incomplete returns.

iBooks are wiped on a regular basis. Borrowers are responsible for getting their data off the laptops before returning them. Neither the Dean's Office nor IT are responsible for any lost data.
