Arts and Architecture has 13 people involved with various aspects of information technology, ranging from lab management, academic and nonacademic unit support, server and network administration, research and consultation. Each person works independently and serves as the point of contact for their area.

All IT members carry a cell phone to facilitate communication across various buildings. Most cell phone numbers are not distributed and people are asked to use email or the published phone number for day-to-day problems. In the event of an emergency, however, the administrative assitants of each area have been designated as departmental contacts and have the cell phone number for each group member. They can contact any of us in the event of an emergency but will not give the numbers out.
